Netflix original series “Arcane” has inspired artists all over the world with its meticulous style and beautiful story. Following the finale, I tried my hand at replicating the art style while hodgepodging references together for an original pose of characters jinx and isha. I was inspired by “madonna and child” depictions of the Virgin Mary and Jesus, the sacrificial lamb. After drawing parallels between the two stories, I have illustrated Isha and a sacrificial lamb being held in Jinx’s arms, showing her status as the “Mother.” Her hands are stressed as she can barely hold both Isha and the lamb, indicating both Isha’s and her own sacrifice for the good of Zaun.
